Spring is a beautiful time of the year. It’s a season full of changes to the world around us, as well as within us. It’s a time of the year when we’re shedding the old and stepping into the new – a new wardrobe, life, goals, physique, and style. Boudoir photography is a wonderful opportunity year-round to celebrate who you are, but Spring is particularly special because it’s full of vibrant colors and renewed energy, creating a new aesthetic for outdoor photography.

Choosing an outdoor springtime location for a boudoir photo shoot can be a difficult task. Although there are diverse plants and flowers on display, cultural events and activities happening such as music festivals, walks, outdoor yoga, and celebratory events. These can make it difficult to find the perfect aesthetic undisrupted and private.

A garden, however, is one of the most perfect locations for an outdoor spring-themed boudoir session- it’s private and provides a tranquil backdrop, and is usually full of beautiful colors and aesthetics, making it a great space for portraits. But, not everyone has a green thumb or has access to a garden that provides the right look for a boudoir shoot.
